If you like tulips, go to Mount Vernon, Washington (60 miles north of Seattle) during the month of April. The surrounding Skagit Valley explodes with color as more than 1,500 acres of tulips and daffodils bloom. Tiptoe though them, watch the parade and wander through the street fair. Or bring a bicycle for a flat ride through the colors.These are just a sample of the colors I saw during a visit last Saturday.
