I can't wait until Spring!

I think we are all waiting for the Spring colors to arrive...but don't let the final days of winter keep you from creating.

Last Saturday I went out to shoot a few photos, and what started out to be a sunny afternoon, turned out to be a gloomy one. Before the rains came, I snapped this photo of the Brown's Point lighthouse in NE Tacoma. Even a drab day can sometimes produce a nice photograph!

The Red Canoe

I took this photo at the Browns Point Lighthouse in Tacoma, Washington.

I love the beach rock in contrast with the blues in the water and sky.

Dash Point Beach

This photo was taken at Dash Point State Park in Federal Way, Washington - only a few miles from my home.

It was one of the lowest tides I've seen on this beach. The texture of the wave beaten beach is a nice contrast to the soft sky. Sunset was only a few hours away, adding to the great light in this shot.

Make sure you click on the photo for a much larger view.
