Most of my work leans towards Realism, and usually conveys an image of calmness or wonder. Though each painting, or photograph, has a special meaning to me, I want the viewer to walk away with their own emotions from the work - in this way they also become part of the creative process.
Many artists are known for one certain style or subject matter. The search to create something different sometimes takes me across a wide variety of styles, medium, and subject matter. Lately I've discovered the sheer beauty of molten glass, and have been creating glass paperweights. My digital photography consists of a wide variety of subjects - from beautiful sunsets, to a downtrodden street musician. My soft pastels paintings are mostly impressionistic landscapes and cityscapes.
Painting and photography has brought about a much needed spiritual awakening to this artist's soul. My only wish is for my art to be viewed, absorbed, pondered and remembered.
