Pioneer Square Alleyway

This is a little different for me...a soft pastel abstract cityscape. It's 11x14 on pastel board. Would love to know what you think...good or bad! :) Click on the image for a larger view.

David - good job on this piece. Wonderful feeling of the vertical - abstract yet real.

I love the interactive play of shapes and color. Bold, Gutzy. It's great David. P.S. I am also a member of the Northwest Pastel Society, but living in Calif havn't entered anything in the last couple years however

Hi David. My name is Ross and i am sure glad to have found your site. It was through Sandra Lane and her award. Your pastel is lovely and very energetic. I admire the abstract form and have had not too much success with trying it myself so really appreciate it when i see it. Great job!
